Centre Think Tank partners with UK Friends of Ukraine

Our partnership with UK Friends of Ukraine

Centre Think Tank Foundation and the UK Friends of Ukraine have formally partnered with each other to work to increase already high levels of support in the new Labour Government and new Parliament for the UK playing a real part in helping Ukraine win their fight against the Russian occupier.

Speaking of partnering with UK Friends of Ukraine, Torrin Wilkins, the Director of Centre Think Tank Foundation, said: “We are very happy to be partnering with UK Friends of Ukraine. This will expand on our work together and will allow us to continue our support for Ukraine. Victory for Ukraine is our best way of defending Europe and the UK against Russian aggression and protecting our food security. That is why support for Ukraine cuts across party political lines and we hope to continue to expand this support during the new Parliament.”

UK Friends of Ukraine Directors Alex Rennie and Imogen Payter said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Centre Think Tank, who have strong ties with politicians across the political spectrum in the UK and are as committed to the cause of Ukrainian victory. Together, we can help ensure that the UK Government, supported by Parliament, plays their part in helping Ukraine win.”

Centre Think Tank Foundation is both a think tank and pressure group with the mission to rebuild the centre ground and to create more centrist and moderate politics. To achieve these goals, they work with people from across the UK and party politics to build consensus, including a consensus supporting Ukraine. The UK Friends of Ukraine was founded following the first anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. We want to keep up the momentum in terms of support from the UK for Ukraine at all levels of society during the years ahead and after the war through the reconstruction effort.
