This event has been delayed as a result of disruption from the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the COVID-19 pandemic damaging the UK economy, higher taxation will likely be part of the governments strategy to continue funding public services. One area of taxation that affects young people is council tax which taxes houses based on different bands.
